Entry Pathway for Working Professionals

This program has been specifically designed for experienced working professionals who already hold a relevant Diploma qualification and have a minimum of five years of industry experience in a related field. The program recognises that substantial knowledge, skills and professional capability can be developed through a combination of formal education and workplace experience. Eligible applicants may be considered for advanced standing or recognition of prior learning, subject to an individual assessment of their qualifications and professional experience. This pathway enables suitably qualified professionals to build upon their existing expertise and complete the remaining Bachelor-level studies through a structured two-year program without compromising the required academic standards or graduate learning outcomes.

The Bachelor of Leadership and Management is designed for flexible online study and combines independent learning, technology-supported engagement, applied case analysis, industry projects and a research experience. Across two academic years, students build capability in leadership, strategic management, governance, innovation and applied research, culminating in an industry consulting project and a research dissertation.

Capstone: Leadership Consulting Project (BLM207)

The Leadership Consulting Project is the culminating professional experience of the program. Students undertake a comprehensive consultancy project for an existing organisation, government agency, non-profit, educational institution or entrepreneurial venture — identifying a significant organisational challenge, conducting a systematic investigation, developing evidence-based recommendations and preparing a professional implementation strategy.
